πŸ› οΈ Care Guide

πŸ”Ή Enclosure: A ventilated plastic tub or terrarium works well. Ensure moderate airflow to prevent overly stagnant humidity.

πŸ”Ή Substrate: Provide a 5–8 cm deep substrate made from organic soil or coco fiber mixed with plenty of leaf litter, rotting hardwood, and sphagnum moss. Leaf litter should always be available.

πŸ”Ή Temperature: Ideal temperatures range between 18–26Β°C (64–79Β°F). They tolerate cooler conditions better than many tropical species.

πŸ”Ή Humidity: Maintain moderate humidity (60–75%). Keep one side of the enclosure damp while leaving another area slightly drier.

πŸ”Ή Hiding Spots: Cork bark, bark pieces, moss, and leaf litter provide important shelter and help maintain humidity gradients.

πŸ”Ή Food: Feed decaying leaves, rotting wood, vegetable scraps, fish flakes, shrimp pellets, and supply cuttlebone or crushed eggshells for calcium.

🐣 Breeding & Colony Growth

πŸ”Ή Reliable breeders with steady colony growth under stable conditions.
πŸ”Ή Females brood eggs in a pouch before releasing tiny mancae.
πŸ”Ή Provide plenty of leaf litter and supplemental food to support expanding colonies.

πŸ”₯ Colourful & Easy to Keep!
