Sundew gemmae are specialized, asexual reproductive bodies/clones  (essentially modified, miniature leaves) produced by pygmy sundews in autumn and winter.
These tiny, 1–2mm clones serve as "live seeds" that are identical to the parent!!

Introducing the Rose Pygmy sundew, also known as Drosera roseana, a unique and visually stunning carnivorous plant that is a must-have for any collector of exotic flora.
This particular species of sundew features delicate rosettes of spoon-shaped leaves, adorned with glistening dewdrops that serve as traps for unsuspecting insects. Unlike its close relative, Drosera pulchella, Drosera roseana boasts longer and more colorful leaves, with a distinct red hue that sets it apart in any carnivorous plant collection.

To ensure the health and longevity of your Pygmy sundew, it is important to provide it with the right care. This includes placing it in a sunny location, providing it with distilled water or rainwater, and avoiding fertilizers or tap water. In terms of soil, a mix of peat moss and perlite is recommended for optimal growth. Additionally, it is important to keep the soil consistently moist and to never allow it to dry out completely. By following these care instructions, you can expect your Drosera roseana to thrive and continue to showcase its captivating beauty.
