Ranunculus dregei is a small perennial herb with trailing stems, that creeps by runners, often rooted in water. It bears only a few fleshy, roundish, heart-shaped leaves on stalks of about 75mm long. The flowers also borne on stalks of about 75mm long are yellow and borne between September and March.
Ranunculus dregei is a lovely specimen for a mixed border in tat wet spot in the garden. It prefers a cooler climate.
