Designed to safely support vigorous growth in carnivorous plants.
 
Just 0.25 ml of EACH concentrate per litre of water creates a safe feeding solution for most carnivorous plants.

📦 Storage
🌑 Store both concentrates in a cool, dark place.
💧 Once mixed, use the solution within 7 days.
☀️ Keep the mixed solution out of direct sunlight in a cool dry place, as light rapidly breaks down the active ingredients.
 
🧪 Mixing Instructions
Before you start, Shake the RED concentrate very well.
Add 0.25 ml RED concentrate to 1 litre of RO or rain water.
Shake thoroughly.
Add 0.25 ml GREEN concentrate.
Shake again.
Shake the mixed solution before every use.
 
🌱 Feeding Guide
We do NOT recommend feeding during dormancy (Autumn & Winter).
 
The week we do not feed Botaniqra Carnifuel we alternate with NOVION on all our Nepenthes, Sarracenias & Cephalotus 
 
🪰 Venus Flytraps (Dionaea)
Lightly mist the leaves.
Avoid excessive spraying onto the soil.
Feed every 2 weeks.
 
🌞 Drosera (Sundews)
Feeding is generally not necessary.
If desired, lightly mist the leaves once per month.
* Do not use Novion on sundews
 
🪴 Nepenthes
Leaves
Thoroughly mist the leaves every 2 weeks.
Pitchers
Add the solution to one older active pitcher.
Fill to no more than two-thirds (2/3) of the pitcher.
Feed once per month.
Roots
Lightly apply around the stem so the solution reaches the roots.
Feed once at the start of the growing season.
If feeding every 2 months, flush the pot with plenty of RO or rain water one week later and repot annually.
Never feed the roots during Autumn or Winter.
 
🌾 Sarracenia
Leave outside
Thoroughly mist the outside of the pitchers every 2 weeks.
Pitcher inside
If the pitchers are not catching insects, add CarniFuel to one pitcher, filling to a maximum of 50%.
Feed once per month.
Do not add CarniFuel if the pitcher is already successfully catching insects.
Roots
Apply around the rhizome/stem at the beginning of the growing season.
Repeat 2 months later if desired.
Do not feed near the end of the growing season.
*Monthly root feeding is possible, but we strongly recommend flushing the pot one week later and repotting every year to prevent nutrient build-up.

Feed using the same recommendations as Nepenthes.

The feeding schedules above have been developed to provide additional nutrients while minimising the risk of overfeeding. Every growing environment is different, so always observe your plants and reduce feeding and flush the soil with pure water if signs of stress occur.
