🪴 General Feeding Dilution
- Standard mix: 5 ml per 1 litre water
- Apply to already moist soil
- Feed during active growth periods (spring–summer)
🏡 Application by Plant Type
🌿 Houseplants (Indoor Plants)
- Use 5 ml per litre
- Water soil lightly
- Frequency: Every 2–3 weeks during active growth
- Reduce to monthly or stop in winter
🌸 Orchids
- Use 2 ml per litre
- Apply to the potting medium, avoiding crown and leaves
- For epiphytic orchids, apply lightly to root zone only
- Frequency: Every 6-8 weeks during active growth
- Reduce feeding when orchids are dormant or not actively growing
🌳 Terrarium Plants – Closed Terrarium
- Use 2 ml per litre (weaker due to limited space and recirculating moisture)
- Apply lightly to substrate, avoid wetting leaves excessively
- Frequency: When plants start to grow in a new terrarium and then only every 4 to 6 months
- Ensure proper ventilation after feeding to prevent mould
🌿 Terrarium Plants – Open Terrarium
- Use 5 ml per litre
- Soil drench or light foliar feed, depending on species
- Frequency: Every 2–3 weeks during active growth
- Open terrariums tolerate slightly stronger fertiliser than closed systems
🌸 Flowering Plants & Ornamentals
- Use 5 ml per litre
- Apply to soil or as light foliar spray
- Frequency: Every 1–2 weeks while actively flowering
🥬 Vegetables & Edibles
- Use 5 ml per litre
- Water into soil around roots
- Frequency: Every 1–2 weeks during growing season
🌵 Succulents & Low-Nutrient Plants
- Use half strength: 2.5 ml per litre
- Apply lightly to soil
- Frequency: Every 4–6 weeks in warm growing season only
⚠️ Important Safety Rules
- Never apply to completely dry soil — water lightly first
- Do not exceed recommended strength
- Reduce feeding in winter or slow growth periods
- Avoid feeding stressed, diseased, or newly repotted plants for 1–2 weeks
- Morning or late afternoon application is best in hot weather
- In closed terrariums, ensure good ventilation after feeding
💡 Quick Tips for Best Results
- Weak regular feeding works better than strong occasional feeding
- Good light and proper watering are more important than fertiliser
- Yellowing older leaves often improve after consistent feeding
- Flush pots or terrariums with plain water occasionally to prevent nutrient buildup
- When unsure: feed weaker rather than stronger
